University and former art director in the Indian film industry, Bargal Interiors has grown into a prestigious interior design firm. From creating movie sets for classics like Mother India to designing spaces for film personalities, our journey began with creativity at its core.
Today, under the leadership of Ms. Ashima Bargal, we have expanded our portfolio to include residences, offices, hotels, and institutions. With offices in Mumbai, our team of 200+ skilled professionals continues to deliver excellence in turnkey projects across India.

The first known owner of this 19th-century bungalow was Peerbhoy Khalakdina, a Khoja merchant. After Independence, it housed the office of the Documentary Films of India and then the Films Division. It then remained locked for over 30 years, until Bargal and Neemrana Hotels brought back its original glory. The idea was to maintain its original aesthetic: the woodwork was recreated and classic flooring-designs consisting of marble, coloured stones and hand-painted ceramic tiles-sourced from different parts of India.
